The Salisbury VA Medical Center will celebrate Black History Month on Friday, February 24, 2012, with a special program at 1:00 p.m. in the Social Room located in Building 6. The public is invited.
The theme for this year’s program is “Black Women in American Culture and History.” The keynote speaker is Dr. Maxine M. Broadway, retired educator and vice president of Academic Affairs, Dean of Livingstone College. Ms. Alisha Byrd, assistant to the president of Livingstone College, will also participate in the program.
