Building 4 Mental Health Center of Excellence Renovations
- This a four phase Minor Capital Improvement project to be completed over the next three years to create a Mental Health Care Center of Excellence with specialized care sections.
- Phase 1 of the project to renovate the first floor of Building 4 for outpatient activities demolition/construction began on the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) end. Cost: $3,269,000 - Outpatient; $7,400,000 - Inpatient
- Phase 2 will include a new building to serve as a connection between Building 4 and 11. This new building will house inpatients. Ground breaking took place in Spring 2011.
- The final two phases will be completed in the next two Fiscal Years.

Hospice Unit
A new 12 bed Hospice unit is being constructed adjacent to Building 42.
- Construction start: November 2010
- Cost: $8 million
- Anticipated completion: May 2012
- Square footage: renovated 45,244; new 18,459

- 12 bed unit adjacent to Building 42 Community Living Center
- Private rooms, private baths
