On Saturday, August 6, family, friends and staff gathered at the Salisbury VAMC to celebrate the 100th birthday of Veteran Edgar W. Miller, Sr. During the WWII Normandy invasion, Miller, an Army sergeant, commanded a platoon of 52 soldiers.
Family members from North Carolina, Georgia, and South Carolina traveled to Salisbury to join in the celebration.
