Where Do I Begin?

Want to learn more about Whole Health? Two different levels of learning are being held on Whole Health on a continuous basis. A Veteran can participate in just one, or might decide to participate in both! Our biggest goal is helping you. Let's take a look:

Intro to Whole Health

Taking Charge of My Life and Health (9 weeks)

This is the 20,000 foot overview from the airplane! Come find out what Whole Health is all about (We’ll give you a hint – it’s you!)

This is our boots-on-the-ground class. This class is for those who want to really take charge of their health, and it means putting in a little hard work.

Taking Charge of My Life and Health is a 9-week group facilitated by Veteran peers to help participants improve their self-care behaviors to support their personal mission for life and health. The objective is to think differently and set goals to address your health and wellness, based on your personal values.

These groups are currently available through the Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences service, with plans for a 4-week version available through Primary Care in the near future.

Veterans can attend the Intoroduction to Whole Health as a scheduled appointment or as a walk-in. No appointment is necessary though! Family are also welcome to attend!

To receive a scheduled appointment, ask your primary care physician about Whole Health, or ask to be scheduled for the Introduction to Whole Health at the scheduling hub on the first floor of Bldg. 3 on the Salisbury Campus.

There is zero co-pay for all Veterans for the Whole Health classes/courses!
