Academic Partners
Salisbury VA is affiliated with the Wake Forest University School of Medicine/Baptist Medical Center. We offer residency training in Psychiatry, Primary Care, Ophthalmology, Infectious Diseases, Dermatology, Otolaryngology, Urology, and General Surgery for Wake Forest.
In 2006, Salisbury VA became affiliated with the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine (at Virginia Tech University). We have rotating third-and fourth-year medical students across a wide-range of disciplines.

Veterans Service Organizations
Salisbury VA maintains a good working relationship with all of our veteran service organization (VSO) partners. We regularly brief our VSO representatives on changes impacting Veterans' health care.
A Veterans Advisory Council (VAC) has been established within the Mid-Atlantic VA Healthcare Network (VISN 6) which includes stakeholders from a number of Veterans groups. The VAC meets quarterly.
